Shirt pulling

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a game with so much shirt pulling from the opposition, and a ref that was blind to it

I noticed that as well. There was loads going on in the penalty area when we had a corner/free kick. Terrible ref

Funny enough guy who likes to show his nads to everyone broke his fingers pulling Billy’s shirt. We  only score because he is not on the pitch at the time.

True, but it was especially prevalent today. Joe Lewis is an absolute w@nker.

Like yes the ref was appalling but who's really getting played?

We've got to wise up. If he's not giving anything for going to ground then he's not gonna start halfway through, we've got to get more physical and fight fire with fire.

Absolutely not. They are experts at cheating, we would certainly lose.

Ref extends his record to 11 times he's Reffed us and still only 1 win

Did we really get into the second minute of second half before he gave us a Free Kick ?

If we were to win a free kick, I’m sure that it would have been re started with a scrum.

What about our shot in the second half which hit the defender in his nads, yet went down holding his face, to stop our attack. Ref was poor, but we have only ourselves to blame for throwing that away.

The worst thing about that incident was that I’m pretty sure he didn’t even hold his face!!! He just stayed down and the ref stopped the game.

Why was the ref holding the game up for players to tie their shoe laces? He did it twice for us and I’ve never seen that before.

said the same at the time. The only time the game should be stopped is if there is an injury that looks extremely serious. Ball hitting someone in the knackers, tying a shoe lace, even a very heavy challenge just doesn’t warrant it. The physio comes on and adds nothing to aid recovery do they. Stopping the game for injuries is essentially pointless.

Put smaller sizes on the players making more body hugging ,Spurs used Kappa Shirts because of just that .. body tight and hugging making harder to grab a hold  :headbang:

I saw a photo this morning of Bailey heading home his goal and his marker almost has Bails shirt pulled over his head.

.... it would be nice but dont you think players would just adapt ?

The fella yesterday got hit and the Ref gets one look , so that player hit the deck on his  back and gave it the Im dead pose , totally immobile

Yesterdays "Ref" blew on the off chance it was a head hit so he would do the same surely if the player feigned a knockout blow

Lets face it they must have plans for everything they do to ensure they run the clock down if the score or result is favourable to them.

Think the ref stopped it because the player was in the middle of the penalty and could be problems if the ball was to come straight into the box again with him still on the floor
