There used to be a forum app that people could use, instead of browser, is that still an available option? If so, what was it called?

There must be someone who can sort this. Who or where is that person.

I am that person, for my sins.

After speaking to IONOS (our web host) every day last week we eventually found an erroneous CNAME entry in the DNS that was randomly causing the website to redirect to there default parking page, which should only show when a domain hasn't been correctly configured.

It should be fixed now, and I haven't personally seen the dreaded cookie message for the last couple of days now. Try clearing your browser cookies and cache for this website and see if that solves it. You can also check by loading the site in incognito mode in chrome.

We are looking into alternative web hosts but this forum is quite old software and relies on older server software that isn't supported by most other web hosts.

I had a look on here earlier today and all was good but since the game started I have had to close the browser down five times and go back in due to the cookie bug come by back into the reckoning.
So frustrating.

Given the performances and score line today might be better telling them to not fix the issue for a week, save is all the bile

Thanks for your work BJW. I appreciate the limitations of what you're having to work with!

Many thanks for your efforts, BJW.

I tried disabling cookies a few days ago.... I bit the legs off some Gingerbread men our lass made, but the problem still occurred.

All seems good, now though, so the problem must have been summet else.

It's a relief to see this thread. This afternoon is the first time in a while that I've got on without the cookie pop up appearing. I use an android tablet, and had been worried there was something wrong with it

Looking good today, like I have said previously, if it’s a host issue you should be seeking compensation for the poor service, and what things have been put in place to ensure it doesn’t happen again?

I just had it pop up on this thread a few minutes ago. Read a few other threads and came back and come straight in no problem.

do any of you see this screen below

if you click on imprint you will see this site at this moment in time is hosted by a company called ineos

as in   Jim Ratcliffe -- Man united etc

------------------
Question    Who hosts drfc-vsc.co.uk --- co-pilot says :
The domain drfc-vsc.co.uk does not currently appear to be hosted with an active website.

Instead, it is “parked” — meaning the domain name is registered, but no custom site is running on it.

When a domain is parked, the registrar (or a third-party service) shows placeholder pages, often with ads or “domain for sale” notices.

and clicking on the other link takes you to sedoparking. com  - where we earn the odd sheckel

i log into this site as a guest on my computer - i never log in on a phone

Hope this might help someone
