As it is a premier ground, will VAR be used ? If so, will it be the first game Rovers have played with this in action?

No, VAR is used when all host teams in that round can accommodate it, there are lower league teams in this round at home

No VAR in the 3rd round of the Carabao Cup.

Thanks, it's just I remember last year it was used in some FA Cup games but not in others.
