I agree with nearly all of the comments on here.
We have seen enough of him to know he’s very talented and potentially will get to a high level in the game.
At the end of last season he showed this, he was excellent, however since he came back he’s been like a different player, he’s been slow on the ball and generally poor, displaying some of the attitudes mentioned.

I hope this is just a blip and the guys sort him out, but at present for me Ben close is the better option and should be starting games.

His on-field body language is at the other end of the scale to that of our previous Donny / Leeds young pretender ;Ian Snodin !

Ben Close and Robbie Gotts are both ahead of Charlie for that 3rd midfield spot IMO.

Let’s be right picking a match day squad should be based on merit. He and Ajay shouldn’t be near it. If they were young players from our academy they’d certainly not be given so many chances

I get the impression that McCann was torn between giving fringe players a game and trying to win it. When it comes to this sort of match at a top PL stadium, it would have been better to field his best 11 because instead of being completely outclassed like several of those he chose to play were, the first team players, closer to the opposition in ability, would have benefited more. In Crew's case he wasted the opportunity and failed to do his  best for the team. There comes a time when a bad attitude demands sanctions! If we are paying a loan fee its time to send him back.

Ajayi gets 10 minutes a week. Hardly a chance to do anything. If we're talking about poor performance v minutes played Molyneux is that man.

Gibson and Middleton for me today v Luton

May be his blip is due to the fact we are now playing a higher level of opposition, he will take time to adjust whereas older hands have already made the step up.
