Really?
Quote from: Copps is Magic on October 04, 2025, 02:58:15 pmReally?Thought the same. Also the piss poor attendance. What do people expect? We are already overachieving in this league. Finishing the league in this position would make for a very good season, far outperforming our budget.
A lot of thick fans in the middle of the south stand.

The boos were for a pathetic second half. Nothing to do with the scoreline! We were lucky to get a point in the end!
The booing at the end was pathetic. Worse thing is there was plenty doing it. More than enough that it’ll have been heard loud and clear by the players.
I rarely feel the need to boo. But, I found myself booing at full time. 1. Because, when we have the upper hand, there's no reason why we should become so passive as a team, we should have the positivity and desire to go on to score goals two and three. That free kick in the last minute of the first half has to be a strike on goal. Why on earth do we try something fancy when it could be the last kick of the half. A couple of other free kick opportunities to keep them on the back foot and we play it short or square. 2. The collective capitulation which turned us from a reasonable league one standard of football to something not much better the level of10 year olds "Kick it, kick it" is unacceptable and a real concern about our mental strength.3. The wholesale subs seemed to be more of a desperate move rather than trying to keep what was working while giving us an extra edge. Whilst I wouldn't blame the subs individually, we collectively nosedive as a unit. McCann has to take a degree of responsibility for allowing the most basic of mental errors to happen when there were opportunities to nip them in the bud. For letting an opposition team off the hook when we had the upper hand and have every reason to keep plugging away even when missing glorious chances.
People slagging off McCann for the lineup are just wrong. The first half we could easily have been 3-4 nil up at half time. Missing chances has nothing to do with the starting lineup, the lineup was spot on and dominated the whole first half.
