The two misses in the first half by Moly and the one second half by Billy were criminal

Agreed. Both were weak and to the wrong side of the goal.

Did anyone else think it was poor how their no.9 got to the ball ahead of both defenders for their goal? Felt like one should have stepped out. Doesn’t look as obvious on these highlights mind.

Yes, and he would score that one probably eight out of ten times.
We are having a dodgy run right now but a quick look at the table shows that we are still only two points outside of the top six.
The last four league games haven’t gone particularly well but we had enough chances to have had todays game won by half time.
The subs made us worse in the second half so that is a worry but at the start of the season, overall I would have been happy to be in our current position in the league after ten matches.

It was at the other end but from that distance, it looked piss poor defending.

It looked like a well timed third man running movement compounded by a brilliantly played through ball to me.

No the first bit involving the player who laid it off to the midfielder.

Their number nine was very quick, strong and clever.
Perhaps it was just a piece of great play

For Billy's miss the keeper's positioning is what forced the error.  Billy's slightly weaker left foot and keeper within arm's length of his righthand post is why Billy went across the goal and just a foot or two wide.

I wondered if he was coming back from an offside position but maybe I was swayed by one of the centre halves putting his arm up. I couldn’t tell as was at the south end of the West stand and can’t see it from the highlights.

Bing Crosby, it went straight down the middle is an apt song.

Both CB’s were on him, both CB’s hesitated, one should have clattered him
