Lincoln Pawlak signs first professional contract

Always good to hear about up and coming players.  He gives a good interview too, I couldn't even look at a camera when I was 17.

He mentioned the word cliche once in his interview but I didn’t hear one cliche in that interview from an intelligent young man who appears ‘to know’ what is expected from him & appears to be relishing the environment, the coaching, the games he plays in, knowledge of the other players at the club in his position, & thoroughly enjoying himself in the process.

All the very best for the future Lincoln Pawlak.

What an excellent interview!
As said above, he comes across as an intelligent, articulate and well-grounded individual, and very mature for his age.

Congratulations and good luck to you Lincoln.

Looked like he had ants in his pants.... couldn't keep still bless him.  Good interview though and I'll look forward to watching his development...

Like a lot of our squad, he has the right attitude and drive to improve and challenge for game time. We have an embarrassment of riches when it comes to young centre halves, he is going to find it tough to get in, but good luck to the lad.

Congratulations to him.

Would be interested to know why it seems set that he's a center back when only 17?

I'd be telling him to practice scoring goals, not stopping them.

Denis Compton centre forward or centre half? Just realised it was his brother Lesley that was centre half. John Charles was immense in both positions.
