He was brilliant from a dead ball situation and his crosses were legendary but there were plenty on here who said he disappeared during games and didn’t pull his weight most of the time. He was scapegoated more than once for us not performing and losing games. Sound familiar?  :police:

Plenty on here say a lot of things, but when Cotterill signed for us, I thought we had at last reached the status of being a serious club capable of attracting such quality.

Now, over a decade later, I dare say we will never sign a player of his quality again anytime soon.

Credit surely to Saunders too. Who knows how far he could have taken us if he’d stayed? He got so much out of all the players and did very entertaining interviews too!

Grant sit the lads down for an hour after training and let them watch the video superb teamwork but must say how poor was Woods in goal ⚽️⚽️
