This pile on of Gaz is getting boring to read now. Pretty much every thread just because he has an opinion. He’s asked a couple of times now for a sophisticated chat in person and every time your respective arses have fell out.Either have a discussion in person and shake hands at the end of it or block him on here. Proper school yard stuff and I’m sure I’m not the only one bored of reading it.

Certainly beyond boring now. These two are elderly gentlemen as well by the way, I suppose you have to worry for their mental health.
Not sure what reception you have had from others Gaz but I’m definitely happy to have a pre match point with you, as an analyst I’m interested in the data behind your views. Out of action the next few weeks from surgery but before the Stockport game?

You constantly post negative comments on here about the team, individual players, the coaching staff and the manager.I’ve had you on ‘ignore’ for several months because I find your constant negativity draining. But last night I happened to see your comment about Billy Sharp and I couldn’t let that go. Basically, you were accusing him of being a serial cheat. That, in my opinion, is a disgraceful accusation.Your invitation to sit next to me at next Tuesday’s game for a “chat” is in my opinion a veiled threat. But it really doesn’t bother me, because as I said in response, I’d rather sit in a bed of nettles for 90 minutes than sit next to a so-called supporter like you.If you are desperate to meet in order to avail me of your superior football knowledge, I’m up for that.I’d also like Monkcaster Rover to attend and I promise I’ll do my best not to let my “arse fall out” whatever that means.
Personally I think it was a penalty , I think the only slight doubt is the ball seems to be stuck under billys feet and not looking to likely to get a shot away , but the barnsley player has gone through the back/ side of billy irrelevant if he got a toe too the ball or not ,and it's hard to see if he did get a toe on the ball or not , so for me a its a penalty.Like someone has said any where else on the pitch it's a foul.
Penalty or yellow for Billy.
donnievic, the ball can be at the other end of the pitch. unlikely I know but if there is a foul on a player in the other area to where the ball is it still is a penalty at that end. You don't have to have the ball to win a free kick for a foul anywhere on the pitch.

Watch it slowed down defenders hands pushing Billy before the scissor job at the end the defender has clattered Billy through the back Penalty Full Stop. Now then we come to another slight issue was the reff evening things out for Billy's ermm earlier indiscretion and should it have been a red well Mr D left him on the pitch with a rollicking end of not an acceptable excuse, Ive got the impression Mr Drysdale tells linos I will make the decision and you agree At the end Billy was on the pitch so penalty. Yes we should have took our chances but apart from the ref and linesman's incompetence we should have had a valuable point
He doesn’t clatter through the back of him though does he,yes there is a little nudge in his back possible where Billy tries to get right in front of him so the defender goes straight I tin the back of him as Billy is stopping ready to shoot,my objective is the defender could of possibly put his leg there to play the ball before Billy goes to shoot, can’t tell what happens 1st but for me deffo no stonewaller, and if Bobby Faulkner had done that defending there would be more then one person saying great tackle. And by no means I’m saying it’s not a penalty either just had to tell when the ref gets one look especially from direvtly behind the play and also him not being a rovers fan. What I will say though it would no doubt get given for plenty of other home team.
Genuine question, are the rules different for fouls anywhere else on the pitch, than for those in the penalty area? A foul anywhere else where the player takes the man then the ball is punished. In the box it seems you can do what you want as long as your toe end grazes the ball at some point, we see it in the prem via VAR all the time.

Doesn't matter whether you make contact with the ball first. It is a dangerous challenge. Even more so when your challenge results in you scissoring the opponent's leg. At that point, you've lost control of the consequences. That's why that challenge would have been an automatic free kick anywhere else on the pitch.
