Just seen he is a free agent.

With sbarra out the door would he be a good choice to come in and do a job here?

Hasnt played alot much football lately though.

Thought he looked a very good prospect in his loan stint with us

He was very good under DM’s tutelage, but seems to have lost his way since?

Would be a fantastic signing if he was anywhere near his former self. Somehow, I think wages would be a big issue.

Absolute priority is a good, tall and pacey striker, though.

I’ve always wondered why in football when players are free agents that players don’t sign for clubs for say 3 months at less money than usual. In the “ normal “ it’s always easier to find a job when you’ve got a job. Same applies with women, when your with someone it’s always easier to attract another one

There's reasons why he, and others like Adelakun are free agents. They're not the same players as  when they were when with us. As we know injuries can play a big part in players not being able to sustain a run of games so we see them dropping down the Pyramid.

Quite a lot of risk in short term deals. Get injured and you can put yourself in a vulnerable position. Players like security. Rather write off 3-6months of playing for a 2 year deal somewhere.

Great player during that time with us, I’ve not seen anyone with the ability to cut through a team at pace with such skill, but more importantly with end product, usually a goal.

I would certainly take a chance on him, if affordable.

So many factors at play when comparing a very talented teenager, with a lad in his mid-20s. Physical, mental, money, desire. Almost certainly we would not be getting anything like the lad we had previously. Could still be a good signing but clearly he’s developed in a different direction.

Suspect he was the right man at the right time under the right manager for us. Not sure he could replicate that again in this set-up a few years later but he was a joy to watch at the time.
