TLT at the end?
« on November 15, 2025, 08:32:08 pm by adamtherover »
Looked like he was raging at a fan at the end, very worrying if yhe player/fan relationship is starting to break down..

Probably something to do with the abuse he was taking from a minority of the fans behind the net.

Hope he didn't think the chants of your f**king shit were aimed at him. It was after their striker missed the open goal. However he did have a heads gone moment there and could have thought it was aimed at him

He was getting stick from a group at the front. They were telling him he was shit. He was telling people to “believe”.

If these so called fans think they are doing the team a favour by abusing players they need to take a long hard look at themselves and piss off somewhere else

 :that:

Yeah, I was right at the front just behind the goal at the end and he was telling fans to believe and shaking hands/doing high fives with some of us, but there were a couple of ranting knobs shouting abuse at him and Jay McGrath, telling them how shit they are. Some of our so called fans are total pr*cks!

Why would you go to a match to support your team and have a great day out just to abuse your own players? Just bizarre.

On TLT though, that was another howler for that open goal they missed though. Just because he missed doesn’t make it any less of a howler. Hopefully we see his top form return soon.

I had a pop at a group behind us for singing "how shit must you be, we lose every week".

Their answer to me having a go at them was for two of them to "offer me out".
f**kin brain dead a lot of our fans.

Songs like that are horrible. They’re not clever or funny are they. It’s not as if we are even playing terribly, cut adrift fighting a lost cause (still not acceptable then btw), with no hope whatsoever.

People must think it’s funny, it’s not.

Some people on here think I’m negative, you’ll never see me singing shite like that or booing players.

I can't stand a lot of our fans. I genuinely thought we were good and getting better the last few games.

Same as always with away crowds, majority seem more interested in being in  the pub, goading other supporters and then getting back to the pub. Best of all, spend most of their time looking at phones and just being idiots, getting in people's way or just being d**kheads.

I do think the atmosphere can be better at the games where people have had a few pints. Obviously there is a line that doesn’t need crossing.

No its shit mate,  would be much better if they'd ramp up the noise in a positive way.
Singing that kind of b*llocks helps no one.

Think it should be a given that you don’t boo or verbally abuse your own players. Those who do are usually silly old buggers or in the main ‘Burberry boys’ let out of their nursery for the day & have woofed 4 cans of cider down them which suddenly makes them ‘feel’ their voices have dropped to baritone level, they’ve gained a foot in height & put on a stone of muscle.

Think I’d have been tempted to tell the two ‘hard nuts’ Nudga “Just you two, wait for me outside the ground & we’ll go somewhere quiet. Look forward to it”. They’d have shat themselves.

There were a dozen of the lanky, pimply, pillox heading for car park 2 after the Barnsley game obviously looking for easy Barnsley targets getting into cars for the journey home. These scum only ‘hunt in packs’ like wild dogs looking for ‘easy prey’.

They were chanting vile abuse as they weaved in & out of parked cars. And where were the police? Standing in groups lining the road yet not more than 100 foot from this rabble. Another nice Saturday earner for the 4’ 11” lady bobbies.

Songs like that are horrible. They’re not clever or funny are they. It’s not as if we are even playing terribly, cut adrift fighting a lost cause (still not acceptable then btw), with no hope whatsoever.

Absolutely. Ask ourselves why the brain dead minority are being heard. The majority need to be louder for longer.

it wasn’t a howler by TLT though yes it looks bad because of the defending he has come out to close the angle for when the player takes a touch which most strikers would do and then be right on top of him unfortunately the striker obviously saw him coming

This.

There are some wildly unpleasant shits among our fans. The abuse that Molyneux gets from some is beyond words.

At Spurs we had a dozen bell ends tottering around us, and not all young ones either. It was a constant stream of "f**k off (insert Rovers player name) you're f**king w**k".

Some of the stuff Molyneux did with the ball and the skill was like Prime Copps yesterday. He is literally playing how McCann is asking players to play and taking risks.

I think it was a howler. A keeper can’t end up in no man’s land like he did there.

I think I saw Lawlor get a yellow card at FT.
May be unrelated.

I can’t believe what I’ve just read. I’ve been a Rovers supporter since 1964 when I returned home. Football has been one of the loves of my life but in the real world is it really important. I can’t again believe that a so called fan feels it necessary to abuse a member of the team they support. Surely it can’t be true. As my Dad regrettably said “you will mix with SOME of the lowest forms of life at a football match”. Thank goodness my seat is among some lovely people.

Yeah we had quite a few around us too. One lad who always seems to stand in south stand, in the camera area at the back near the drum, waving his shirt in his hand every game... He was particularly vile at spurs.

Oram recalled from Matlock to provide cover for an injured keeper
