Aer Lingus…….
« on November 19, 2025, 07:11:37 pm by Draytonian III »
…… anyone going on a short break or working away and going by Aer Lingus at Leeds or Manchester, or in fact any airport with them.
Don’t take one of those small wheelie suitcases because they’ve reduced the size you can take on the plane. I watched a group of around 6 OAPs all get charged £35 each at Manchester because their suitcases were to tall, they were all brand new. The same happened today at Belfast were 3 people got “ fined “.
So unless the wheels are removable, I would invest in a rucksack or hold-all.

I saw a bloke going Alicante last year with Ryanair from East Midlands, smash the wheels off his hand luggage so that it would fit

Good joke that, CLH. It'll take some licking.
