We have all seen a pen given before for the shove on Hanlan, one of those which could go either way.

Real time at the game no pen for me, but then frustrating that the ref gave one the exact same on the defender. But, I actually thought ref was good overall today.

Hanlan gave us the pace up front that sadly Billy hasn’t been able to.
The highlights certainly give the impression that we were the better team on the day.
The lads should gain confidence from this.

Billy's role as a forward is more about being in the right place at the right time, clinical finishing, and contributing to the team's offensive efforts, which doesn't always require blistering pace. (Prime example, Alfie May?)
It's just a pity that both he and Hanlan aren't selected to play as a front two.

The ref had a very good game ,I always listen to the away commentary and they said he only referred about 7 games last season's in England and then went to Japan to referee

Ref was good. Hanlan did a lot of good things. Span his defender a few times well too. Final third I thought everyone was poor with the final pass, touch or cross. Maxwell is starting to frustrate me in particular
