Probably not helped much by Wellens' mistreatment of him here.

On a related note, I thought the presentation from Andy's Man Club at half time on Saturday was really powerful. Good to get men (and everyone) talking about their mental health.

He's been out injured all this season and has only played twice - scored three in those games though.

My feeling is, recognising & ‘admitting’ to yourself that you’re struggling mentally must be the hardest thing to do particularly for a man?

We’ll brush it off as ‘just having a bad day’, but that ‘bad day’ never ends. The ‘strongest’ thing to do is realise you’re not ‘in a good place’ & haven’t been for as long as you can remember.

Be kind to yourself, the mantra ‘You’re not alone’ has never been truer than today.

That’s one of the reasons that rovers were endorsing the Andy man’s club on Saturday.
