Anybody remember Andy King at Rovers?

I've been asked today if I have any information regarding Andy King, the former Everton player, and his time with Rovers as a coach. Apparently he worked under Kerry Dixon.
I have a vague memory of him, but because I'm in hospital at the moment I have no access to my records.
Any help appreciated.

This probably isn't useful, but I do remember us playing Swindon at BV when he was the manager, and him chainsmoking through the second half in the dugout. A different time!

This probably isn't helpful either regarding his time at Rovers but I remember going to Wolves in the mid 80's when they (Wolves) were dropping down the leagues and we won 2-1 with a couple of crackers by Colin Douglas. I think Andy King got their goal.

Can’t remember anything specific but think they were both living in the Hertfordshire area and might have both been playing for Luton about the same time. Might be why there was a relationship? My vague recollection is that he might have been at Rovers after he lost the managers job somewhere in the north.

No, checked. Both played for Luton but no overlap but pretty sure they were both based in Herts.

No, checked. Both played for Luton but no overlap but pretty sure they were both based in Herts.

Andy King's wife was a schoolteacher in Retford when he was at Rovers.
