You’d think so but there was a piece a few months back about the total absence of knighthoods awarded to people and players from the Rugby League. Billy Boston became the first ever, which is shocking. Too little and too late.

Maybe Sinfield’s forays into Union coaching will help and I hope he gets the well deserved recognition for everything he’s done.

He awarded some thing else a couple of years ago and there is a certain time frame before it can be “ upgraded”
