I’m not sure that many neutrals will be interested in Macclesfield v Palace.

really I think that will be one of main tv games non league v holders

They’ll have all the premier league games as it’s the only way the BBC can get PL teams on their channel nowadays. I reckon the WSM vs Grimsby game might be on as I think they’re the lowest ranked team left in it? That only leaves 2/3 slots to fill so doubt we’ll be one of them.

Possible TV games:

Man City v Exeter
Wrexham v Forest
Liverpool v Barnsley
Macclesfield v Palace

Some clubs do enjoy better luck than we do. Exeter got Man U after we lost to them in our Championship days!

Think we have done better than most recently.

Everton away and home
Spurs away
Crystal palace (who went on to win it)

£15 a ticket should get the normal crowd in I think but this one isn't going to be packing grounds out. Doubt Southampton will fetch more than 1000

I’d agree with this. Not only are they the holders against a non-league side, they’re also a really exciting team to watch these days. Nailed on.

I’d say we’ve got very little chance of being on TV. Any game featuring a Premier league team against a lower league team is much more appealing than our game, whilst all-Prem affairs seem to take priority these days. I don’t think Wolves-Shrewsbury has been mentioned but wouldn’t surprise me to see that on given how badly Wolves have been doing.

I’m quite happy with that draw.

And as a recently-departed Rovers legend would say:

“Come on Donny, we can beat these Southern Jessies!”

Looking at their forum they could well bring a sizable following, especially if they continue their recent run of wins,
One of their supporters even fancied before the draw visiting Middlesborough and walking on the beach in January before a game.
If ever a statement proves some are mad that's the one.

The last time we played Southampton was in 2012 so it’s been a good while, think they will sell out or close too can’t see a problem with giving them the full 3,000.

Really hope we continue to do well in the league and hope we can push on and get a full house, if we can get a result vs Southampton then we can draw a big premiership side or even get one of the other lower league sides for some more big prize money and another round in the cup

Depends what time KO is - wouldn't surprise if we got picked for TV and it was on at 7.30pm on a Sunday...

Another certainty for TV is Boreham Wood v Burton.

Wow. I've obviously underestimated the indifference that the big TV companies have to non-league teams' games against EFL teams, in preference to boring all Premier League ties.

They put the games in they think will get the highest audience.
