Looks like it's going to be horrible weather although the forecast suggests the heavy gusty winds might subside by kick off but rain expected to persist. Be prepared!

They are obviously a strong side but they haven’t won a league game since 27 October and that was against rock bottom Port Vale.
Before the season started, I was perusing the teams we would be competing with in League One.I thought that if we were to mount a challenge for the top 6, we would need to be getting positive results against the likes of Lincoln, Stockport, Wycombe, Barnsley, Bolton, Wigan …. because they were the teams likely to be in and around the play-off places.Obviously we have stuttered after our promising start to the season, and as expected Stockport are currently occupying one of the play-off places, but it’s worth noting that IF we get a win tonight, we will be only 4 points behind them.Ever the optimist!
There are more sides recognisably better than us in this Division this season though Hound with more class in their line up who are top half of this division players. Every side we pick to play has at least six or seven players from back to front of the team that have to be continually playing near their ceiling to compete against the top teams. Not to say it is impossible but unlikely as regularly needed to challenge the top six over a season, and the few top players we have would move on for financial gain given the chance. All the talk of January has been about bringing players in, but we could lose some just as easy as the agents will be looking for a cut if possible a la Olowu.

Very odd performance tonight. A massive lack of energy, mis placed passes and players look like they have lost their heads. Also crowd has been very subdued. A very strange night.

Feels like the momentum and positivity built up through the last 18 months has been completely shattered
