Magic of the FA cup
« on December 08, 2025, 08:31:37 pm by Thorney »
Summed up for me seeing the footage of the lad sat at the top of a tree watching the brackley game.

Its only against burton but shows what an FA cup tie means.
Dont know if it is a sell out and he couldnt get a ticket or he thought "f**k it, ive got a better idea".

But its images like this that makes me love the FA cup. Some big teams might not take it serious anymore but some still love it

I think (hope) Palace winning it last year, as well as Newcastle winning the league cup has given both tournaments a shot in the arm and some of the "big but not massive top 6" clubs realise what winning those cups can do for them both in terms of Europe and making legends out of the players/staff involved.

Ex-Rover Jonny Maxted made a great save. Brackley still in this.

Burton too strong for Brackley in the end. I think they'll find it tougher at Boreham Wood though.

The cash Burton are going to make could save them from relegation
