TLT, get him sent back.

Absolutely useless again, f**king threw away all the hard work his team mates did.

Lawler in for the rest of the season

I am not sure even Lawlor would think he was the solution.

He can take McGrath and Grehan with him. Absolutely shocking all three of them. Wake up Grant, rest of the team amazingly good today looked competitive apart from that lot. Pack em off.

TLT is a certified Donkey, as another poster said on the other thread.

Completely gifted the cardiff player the ball.

Even oppo managers know hes useless, hes got no business playing for us.

Knew this would come after the last goal. TLT should have done better but so should anyone of the 6 players the winger walked past to get that shot away. Also once its carried the fact they are first to ball unchallenged not worth a mention at all???

Conceding 4 goals is not all down to the keeper.

Very poor this season, either parries or drops everything, makes a few good saves but costs us far to many points

It’s a team game Tony. They win together and lose together.

Cant believe im writing this as he was my favourite signing of the summer but right from the off, where he conceded a calamity goal to Blackpool, hes been overall shocking.

Has to go back, hes costing us far too many points. Its the most important position on the pitch.

If he does go back I wonder who will be the team scapegoat then every time we concede a goal.

It’s crazy to me how many naive fans still can’t call out this shambolic keeping

With a competent goalkeeper we'd be conceding fewer goals and be much higher up the table. There would be less need or desire for 'scapegoating'.

You also need a competent Centre Back pairing in front of them. Pearson and Lawlor better dust their boots off for next week

Sorry steve, but i have defended tlt all season,

But

98 mins away to the table toppers and the outfield players have bust a vessel all.game to tamely palm that weak effort  forward and not aroumd the post or keep hold is criminal.

I agree on this now. Again never said a word against on here. But enough is enough. Play lawlor from now on. Yes we need better but he hasn’t let us down when he played. TLT is not a patch on TSL

He doesn’t breed confidence. That’s maybe why defence is about jittery.

We can see that he parries the ball excessively and so can the GK Coach, so why is he still in the team when game after game he does it and often costs us goals?

How many clubs in League 1, League 2 or even the National Leagues would accommodate a GK who was so lacking in such a fundamental attribute as the ability to catch the ball or punch it away decisively. It’s hardly a fault which he makes up for by being strong in other qualitative .

The only excuses his  apologists offer is that last defender should not have allowed the scorer to get past or get the shot away.

Well, you could put anyone in goal and use that one.

We did go on that winning run with him in goal, perhaps having Wood in front of him leading the defence helped? Or perhaps the attributes of the defenders we had in that season helped? I just don't see how he could go from the a solid keeper (it wasn't all the defence that kept the clean sheets), to dropping us points week after week.

Come on, Lawlor is nothing but a cheap happy to sit on the bench - good to have guy.

I can just about blame TLT for the second, but the eventual winner I’m not so sure, we all backed off s a team, and he actually parried to the side for once?
I do think the red was at fault, I was listening to the Cardiff feed, and both they and their manager were screaming for the whistle!! BTW they were very complimentary about us, as good as they have seen this season!

I thought it was a great watch but poor from a technical perspective.

Just seen the goals, he should definitely have saved the second but the 4th could've been prevented had 4 other players not let their player through and to be fair he parried it to the side and not back into the middle which judging by the comments X i thought he had.

I have considered that some of the criticisms of TLT so far this season have been a little over the top, certainly blamed for goals which have been affected by mistakes by others.
I consider he his a good keeper and have consistently made these comments, however today I have witnessed the worst performance by him in a rovers shirt. He made lots of errors, however the last goal was a very serious error, yes you can wonder why we game there players room leading up to the shot, but it was a very poor attempt to save.
He could easily have caught hold of the ball, but yet again he made the decision to parry the ball straight to their player.
Now if the management team doesn’t consider all the criticism for today, then they need to explain why is TLT, parring the majority of his saves?
The team worked very hard today, yes they made errors along the way, but I am guessing they will not be happy with Timmy’s performance today.

Just seen that 4th goal again. The keeping is even worse than on first viewing.

Yes there is some poor defending leading up to the goal but he's got to do much better than that.

It's a not particularly fierce shot from outside the box and he has plenty of time to see it coming.

He should be looking to do 1 of 2 things either: -

1) Grab hold of the ball - looks very achievable given the nature of the shot; or

2) If he's doubting he can keep hold of it he should be aiming to to tip the ball around the post and out of danger.

He does not make any attempt to do either of those things.

All he's looking to do is make the save.

He then palms the ball straight to their player who has an easy task of scoring the goal.

Absolutely atrocious goalkeeping for a professionally paid keeper. Amateurish.

How anyone can attempt to defend it is baffling.

That 4th goal, the shot wasn’t that powerful, he wasn’t stretching for it, his chest was behind the ball, it’s a regulation save and hold onto for a keeper. I hope he got some right bollockings from his teammates in the dressing room
