If anyone wants cheering up amidst all this doom and gloom, take a look at the Cardiff forum match thread.

"Best team we've seen down here this season", "How on Earth are they 19th in the league?", "They should shoot up this league", "We were very fortunate", "They went toe to toe with us".

They were also impressed that over 1000 Donny fans had made the long journey. So was I. Well done guys.

Also impressed by molyneux. Who has had his critics here.

Keep there hands of him.  If they have a sniff he wants out then they will snap our hands off

Really enjoyed the day out to Cardiff.
Great stadium, they feel like a proper club and their fans seem fair and decent generally.
I know it’s probably easy to compliment us after a 99th min winner but there have been a lot of good words.
Great city too.

I also enjoyed the trip to Cardiff, barring the result of course. It was absolutely sickening when they scored , especially their fans giving to us big style. But that was to be expected as we had been giving it to them only a minute earlier. That’s football I suppose. Seemed like a good set of supporters.

Even after 3 and a half years a number of people on here can’t spell it.

I notice that open and attacking opposition teams that lose are more likely to get praise than disciplined and defensively good teams who win.

For example our fans seemed to think Peterborough were a really good side but Stockport weren’t.

Yes - it was the same stream of compliments on the BBC report.

Nothing easier walking off a sports field and someone saying you did great when you have lost. it doesn't make you feel good at all.
The bare fact is we need some better defenders.

If the opposition just concentrates on their game and fully believe they can beat any team without closing down the opponents strengths, this is what you get - we are a more than capable team at most levels if you don’t stop our key players.

They (Cardiff) were lucky to get away with the way they played, we had far better chances to kill the game and maybe take it out of their reach. The big problem for us at the moment is most chances for the opposition end in a goal.

I think we are in the bottom 3 in the division with our minus Goal difference, defence is a big issue for us.

Good and bad news for you. Four go down, we're fifth bottom.

We have worked hard in most games but need to step it up a bit to compete with teams with that little bit of class we don't possess in a couple of areas.
Do that and we will be ok
