Disaster?
« on December 20, 2025, 04:43:30 pm by murham »
Come on, this is atrocious.  Team management is totally missing for today. They must go now and give someone a chance in the transfer window.
We are a laughing stock with this pretty style of football, men against boys.

For me, he has 4 games to save his job. We should be contingency planning immediately.

I think he’ll walk if he isn’t shown support from above to sort it out !!

No other word to describe it. Disaster. Currently it feels like it did during the experiment season or the Wellens relegation season. You just expect to get beat and the players to chuck in the towel. Not sure this is salvageable,  its that bad.

Why do we always have to rely on a January transfer window to kickstart out season under GM?!

Do you not think he’s HAD support up to now? Surely it is a fact that the Chairman has been 100% behind him, something which he has acknowledged.

I think we are going down at the moment. It’s a mental thing the capitulation is a hallmark of relegation.

We never looked dangerous and was totally outclassed by a team at the bottom. A depressing watch on a depressing day.
I hope McCann has a miracle in his Xmas stocking because without it we will be a League two side next year.

If there is a managerial change, it has to be now to allow a new manager bring in his own players in January.

Even Grant must be tired of making up excuses and dreading post-match interviews, whether it's the players or his own fault we lose.

Tend to agree but god knows who. Really wanted GM to succeed. It was shambolic today.

When is Dickos going to come on and tell us we only need 12 points to the playoffs and if we can't see it we are all total knobheads?

Been watching Rovers, for 43 years now and i can count on one hand the amount of times ive left early. Today was one of those times after 80 mins.

That was as bad as a performance ive seen for years, including the drivel we had under Schofield.

Truly horrific performance.

I left after 25 as it was hard to take a performance where , when you concede we throw in the towel .., do I did it as well . No one like loosing , but its hard to take when ever week McCann is talking it up without backing it up , I find insulting!! We are still have a L2 mentality and it’s going to hard to bring players into this … if McCann keeps talking stupid ..

Cheers Rovers. 4 year olds first ever game. Fortunately he thought the tripping up was hilarious (Rovers constantly half a yard slower fouling all game)

Is the gym fit to use yet at Cantley Park. Half of them need to get in it. Bullied again today.

Talk alone will not win you games if so McCann would get the manager of the year !! Imo the players are looking for a different voice to steer them !!

Clearly today was very poor but McCann is a proven manager at this level both with us and with Hull City. He has done well in League One previously. Our recruitment continues to be a disappointment but that isn't unique to McCann. He certainly hasn't broken the mould.

I think he can turn this around and keep us up, although we need to have a serious think in the summer about not just who we sign but how we sign, as we seem to consistently sign underperforming or intermittent players, that are never monetised. This isn't sustainable.

Turn it around ? Just how many loans or signing does it take to build confidence in HIS decision making !!

Possibly a bit unfair to Dickos who has been very quiet for some time.

He has posted for quite a few weeks, so maybe he’s finally realised we have a problem!
I and a few others called it quite a few weeks ago, that McCann’s team selections, formations, tactics etc were not working, yet he has continued with his vision and constantly changing the starting elevens.
So yes it’s definitely, Houston we have a problem!

I think "Houston, we TOOK one of your problems" is more accurate.
