We simply do not have players with the ability to play the ball out from the back. How many times have we conceded a goal from trying to play football in or around the area.

Why do we have a goalkeeper in charge of our set plays? Surely it should be an ex-striker, maybe even Billy if he is doing coaching badges

I see your point but maybe it should be both for both perspectives?

To be brutally frank, whether Letheran was a goalkeeper or not, is irrelevant because he is clearly incompetent. In his primary speciality he can hardly be classed as successful either: witness TLT, Jones… Does this specialised coaching extend to defending corners because we’re not very good at that either!
