This was almost correct. Bailey is in midfield. Pearson is centre back. Broadbent dropped to bench. Gotts starts not Clifton. Sterry not in squad.

Well, Nixon and Senior are both brave enough to push up, something we've not seen enough of Maxwell do often enough, being a bit half hearted. My only concern is them going a little too gung ho at times and struggling to get back on turnovers.

If Gotts and Bailey can support Close and work as a unit, then we could see some joined up football bringing Moly and Gibson into play.

I hope they've learned from the first game against them plus as with other teams we've played recently, if we let them off the hook too easily they'll soon push up on us. Of course, that would give us the opportunity to play them on the break.

Either way, we've got nowt to lose so be brave.

I’m afraid our defence is back to the days of getting bullied by Andy Cook.

Wooton took Pearson apart for his second and brushed off McGrath for his third. 

Stockport weren’t very good and we played pretty well but if we are conceding goals to the Big Lad Up Top like that, we’re properly in the shit.
