Chances are, he’ll be on the bench. But he’s been with us training a while. Probably best that he has, as he’s had no serious game time for a month.Only 5’10” and not very muscular looking but if he plays well, that’s all that matters.Update: GM reckons he’s a 6 footer, so must be growing!.
I’m surprised there’s not been more fall out from the Bayley McCann signing. He offers us nothing, we’re in the desperate mess at the bottom of the league, and McCann brings his amateur footballer son in to our club. McCann was out for number one when the snake crawled off last time, now his priority is jobs for his kids, not dragging us out of the mess he’s got us in to. It's disgraceful in my opinion.

This could become a problem.
You’re absolute tripe! He’s a league one player on loan, lots of players go out on loan and some turn into world class footballers. Grant wouldn’t have signed him if he didn’t think he’d get in our side in the future. Your view is spiteful for no reason

He might become a decent player, but he’s not a young lad, and he’s nothing like the level of a league footballer at the moment so I’d bet against it. My point is, if his name wasn’t McCann we wouldn’t have signed him. If we’d have plucked some unknown random from national league north there would have been mayhem, but Grant signs his son and that’s all ok? It’s not for me. Our club should be protected from corruption and favouritism.

Looking at Robinson’s struggle for game time in weaker leagues than League One, it’s not unfair to assume he’s likely just a squad option for now with view to developing him in to something further. The next two or three signings are going to be the make or break ones.

August 2024 so 16 months ago, He only joined st pats for 4 months or so, And we’ve seen countless times now, how players do elsewhere is pretty irrelevent

If the manager believes his son has the potential to be successful then i would rather him be successful with us than Barnsley.
Some of the greatest footballers we’ve ever produced spent time out on loan before establishing themselves.Harry Kane, Declan rice, Rio Ferdinand Frank lampard Ashley ColeDavid Beckham

I've got no issue with the father/son thing, I do have a two concerns though.1; will the pressure of being the mangers son be too much for Bayley to overcome? 2; if he's a player with potential, why did Barnsley let him go?
