Good luck to him, he has done a decent job for us.

Inevitable I think, but sad to see him go, gave our defence a touch of class a composure, had a bit of van de ven about him. Definitely an area we need to improve in the next few weeks.

I mean it’s been known for like several weeks so no idea where the “faint hopes” came from?

Once he was called back, I don't think there was any chance of him returning. I guess the main fear was him being farmed out elsewhere, although it sounds like they want him to be part of their first team squad so let's hope he gets that chance and takes it.

A good learning curve with us because it wasn't easy. We just need to find a solid combination for the rest of the season whether it's from within or a replacement.

Apparently Bradford were rumoured to be interested, now that would have hurt if he’d gone there. Good luck to the lad !

For anyone who had faint hopes of him coming back, without having listened to the interview, at a guess.

Thanks, the penny has dropped.

I thought there would have been no hope of him coming back, so assumed the title was about something else..

Fair enough Blackburn want him back it’s their right but it pisses me off that he’s basically been unavailable since they decided that’s the case. Hope we got our loan money back as we’ve had selection decisions taken out our hands when he could have played.

I’m so against us relying on loans as much as we do but understand the economics of it so accept it is something we have to do but this is another example of why we’d be better off with our own players and no loans.

He came on at half time & was immediately booked for a foul. He obviously learned a lot at Rovers

I think it now means he can't play for anyone else. Great he got into the action straight away.
