Will it be on this Saturday with the weather forecast and if so are you going?

Looking at ticket sales yesterday looks like very few people are going.

Guessing most are waiting to see what the weather will do before deciding, others are not bothered with it as its not really a big game and one we have a high ish probability of losing

Personally cannot see this going ahead.

The weather hasnt exactly warmed up since last weekends postponment. Can see this being called off friday.
Southampton fans have a long way to come and likely would set off very early sat morning. So club will let them no early

Priced wrong. Club thought this would get a decent crowd. Not at £20 a go after Xmas. £50 family of 4.

I’m going with my mate, brother, and 2 nephews - it’s a family day out a good few times a season as we all have STs and try to get to as many away and cup games as work allows. However, I think it’s a big doubt it being on but fingers crossed!

I believe both clubs have to agree the price  for cup games could be wrong

I would imagine most people are waiting until they know the game is on or not before buying. Some won’t fancy it/can’t make a reply on a Tuesday/Wednesday night so won’t want to buy now and then lose money

I’m pretty sure that anyone who has a ticket but is unable to attend on a rearranged date would be eligible for a full refund.

I think there may be several postponements this weekend..... could it mean that if our game is moved to midweek, it might be picked up for TV coverage...?

Just what I was thinking.
I will be very surprised if the game go ahead on Saturday.
The Vertu match against Fleetwood looks like it will have to be moved.

Canal is frozen over in Thorne and the ground crunches under foot, going to take a real shift in temperatures to be playable I think

There hasn’t really been any change in temperature to thaw the pitch since Sunday and looking at tomorrow and Saturday morning can’t see it being on unless we have hired some big heaters

Yeah after being intially confident that it would be fine i am very much doubtful now. Especially since this storm is coming tonight and we are meant to get 10cm of snow

Was on BBC Radio Sheffield this morning for South Yorkshire to potentially get up to 10cm of snow, plus heavy winds when the storm hits this evening around 1800.
