I've had it a lot today too

I was blocked out the whole morning today and now each page refresh hangs for ages just as when the green cookie message appears, so it's still lurking in the background.

Been on and off all day

yes me too! Hadn't had it for months and had forgotten all about it but its just had me!!!!!!!
