Wellens and McSheffrey played him Schofield did when he had to and he got, MOM;s under them all Mccann has played him in EFL  games only and a short sub in a league game.

Aye. The first three managers took us from a solid L1 position to the bottom end of L2. The fourth one took us the opposite way. Might be the context for the decisions you are so upset about regarding Faulkner.

I wasn’t keen on McSheffrey being shoed into the job, especially after he said he didn’t want it.
And I also seriously didn’t like the way Schofield stubbornly stayed with “the process” when things clearly weren’t working out.
However it should be taken into consideration that including Wellens, all three of those previous managers were starved of the finances required to allow them to bring quality players suitable for the division we were in.
Perhaps that should be included in the context too.

Or perhaps funds have been made available to a better manager than those 3

I'm not doubting that. But it equates to the same thing. Faulkner played under the other managers, because, in their opinion, we didn't have anyone better. And during that time, we sank like a stone. Under McCann, in his opinion, we've had better options and we have risen rapidly.

Came on last night at Barrow when Harrogate were under a lot of pressure defending a one nil score line in an important bottom of the table clash.
He effected the game straight away being dominant in central defence and did a great job helping Harrogate seeing the game and the win out for an important 1-0 win that gives them a chance of getting out of the relegation places.
He fully deserved the big bear hug from the manager at the end despite only playing half an hour or so, with Weaver saying what a pleasure it is to have his big smiling face and character back in the changing rooms in ther quest to stay in the EFL.

Perhaps thats his next club then - Harrogate - not the worst choice from his perspective - they clearly like him from what you say!

Good luck to Bobby, I hope he keeps them up and offers himself a future at Rovers because of it, it takes character to battle away at the bottom and come up trumps.

i think Wellens is claiming he is being starved yet again after his rant the other night...

I can’t believe you managed to see 2 games at once.

You can't record the streams on Sky Sports or rewatch them.

Good experience for him at Harrogate, not too far from home either. I’m hoping there is a long term plan to develop him and give him a run of games at some point. He did ok before his injury and was unlucky that it dropped him down the pecking order, which has led him to be loaned out rather than him getting his chance.

Football unfortunately is based on pure luck at times, I hope he gets his share of good luck from the injury side. He seems a genuine player who gives all he has, which has led to a few injuries, get some games for Harrogate and see how it develops.
