Best midfielder, best defender and best goalscorer in the squad. I reckon Bailey would probably be the best cook and kit washer an all.

Gritty performance from the lads who stuck it out right to the death. That's our Wimbledon hoodoo off our back and hopefully the start of our second half of the season charge up the table. Brilliant result. Well done all. RTID

Everyone said our luck will turn but I can promise you all if McCann thinks Frankie is the answer then we are going to take this down to the wire because he is absolutely shocking. Sharp did more in that first 10 he came on than he did in 60/70 mins? I’m always willing to give new players the benefit of the doubt but that was pathetic. Recruitment strikes yet again. Owen Bailey take a bow!!!

Is it no coincidence that bailey played at the back and we bring in a new keeper that we kept a clean sheet ,It allows us to play out from the back with someone who can pass the ball from defence to midfield

Okeronko not doing much need billy on.

Yes he wasn’t in the game at all, think he made one good pass into the middle. We can’t afford any passengers, not sure why he didn’t bring Billy on at half time.

I know its early days but ive not seen anything from him at all yet. Seems to cover lots of ground but without any intensity or purpose. Nothing sticking to him and looks a little off the pace to me. Not really effected either game so far. I hope he is a success but so far a bit of a passenger. Hanlan offers more now hes settled in

Very little supply to him to be fair. Wimbledon horrible to play against. Hardly saw Hakeeb or Moly either, just one of those games you grind out.

Frankie has played very little football, I reckon he’ll come good, but he’ll need minutes to settle in.

Barnsley did us a favour by knocking in a late goal against Blackpool...

Interesting Sharp was first choice swap ahead of Hanlan.

Game as a spectacle was as drab as Sutton as well. Horrid side Wimbledon. Promotion push here we come

This.
We looked the most solid we've looked away all season.

Couldn’t agree more - you can’t judge someone based on 1 game against the masters of dark arts and time wasting that are Wimbledon. I really hope (and think) he’ll come good for us and create a great partnership with Haks. You heard it here first!  :clapping: :boxing:

Gotts has certainly made a difference in the deeper midfield role.

Well done lads

We looked the most solid we've looked away all season.

For the thousandth time we need two functioning centre halves. Nothing more obvious. Hopefully Grant knows this. Bailey + An Other and sign a functioning midfielder, or two defenders.

We have Gotts, Robinson and Broadbent who all want to play the same role in midfield. The midfield will only work if we play one of them at a time.

Clifton, Gotts and Broadbent had completed 18 passes between them when I checked on 50mins. They were so disjointed it was untrue. We didn’t need Robinson, we needed a different profile in the mix.

Okoronkwo offers very little. Hopefully more game time brings about improvement.

I’m on them to go down. They are horrific.
