Nine games this league season we have been infront only to either lose or draw.

Way too many points dropped from winning positions.
Grant and the players need to find away to change this or we will be relegated.

Has there been any other season where we have dropped so many points from winning positions?

Thought this was a reference to the amount of goals McCann thought we should have had in his post-match.

Because everyone in football management knows that a 3-0 lead at 60 minutes isn’t a safe position to be in and you need more goals…

Maybe the data people should tell him that not every ‘big chance’ results in a goal for everyone like he expects of our players.

Seems obsessed with going for quantity over quality in the summer, to get us through the half of season with all the cup games.
By January is glaringly obvious where we are short and ends up having to ship players out/terminate bad loans and sign much needed quality.

There’s every point dwelling on this now, or at least looking into it and trying to fix it. Otherwise it will continue to cost us points and could ultimately be the difference between staying up and going down.

Completely agree with the second point, although I’d also hope that those in charge question it rather than just McCann. Is he held to account enough right now?

It's a telling stat. It's either substitutes having a negative impact or poor fitness.

I do think its both CJK.

I said earlier in the season the lads were struggling fitness wise, players that were plenty fit enough the season before were all of a sudden struggling with the pace and intensity of the higher level.

I am more certain than ever that it took the club (as a whole) by surprise the difference in level of the league.

I think the lads are almost there fitness wise now and have adapted - you can see the difference if we take the current cup game against Fleetwood - fitness and speed wise we were just too much for them.

Im sure even though there is some anger and disgruntled fans right now, we can all see more than a glimmer of hope that we will pull out of this position. A few tweaks next year and we could well be sitting a hell of a lot higher.

I’ve posted about McCann’s seemingly compulsive desire to bring on substitutes irrespective of the state of the game or (seemingly) regard to who is involved. Is judgment in play or has habit taken over?
