Days like today are the flip side of Haks and it is so frustrating.People are slagging Gibson off but he did as much in 30mins as Haks did in 60.

Gibson was in his own head during the warmup.
Ramadan coming up in a couple weeks and from memory that affected his last time.

I’m not buying the Ramadan excuse, as those matches were several weeks after that period finished. As has been said, if he was consistently at his best, he’d be playing at a higher level.Same goes for all our squad especially those who become the scapegoats when we lose or have bad form. Except Sharp, who has nowt to prove at any level.
I'd wager his chance conversion rate will be better than Gibson who on the rate occasions he gets into a scoring position usually fluffs it

Both have a career average of around a goal every 6 appearances. Adelakun does have the better record on starts to be fair - a goal every 3.5 starts compared to Gibson's one every 4.3).I love watching Adelakun and his positive, approach. But I do wonder what the reaction in here would have been if the early chance he fluffed yesterday had been that badly missed by Gibson or Hanlan. I suspect there'd have been one or two spontaneously combusting.

If he’s off it he’s miles off it. Hopefully he has enough going days between now and May to keep us up.

Amazing that some Pagan Moon Worship nonsense is written about on here. Any player should prioritise nutrition and liquid intake whenever necessary either training or playing. Want to engage in a real challenge then try something in closed season, howl at the Moon all you like then.Anyway that particular nonsense in 2024 ended 9th April, before the regular season finished, so had no impact on the play offs. I can't remember what the break in the Crewe game was for but it wasn't anyone ending a limited time period of fasting.
It was more than likely the Walsall home game on 9th April, Ramadan ended at sunset that day
I'll stick with my Scientific Materialism beliefs centered on The Enlightenment thanks. You stick with superstitious idiocy.
