Any of the critics want to speak? He’s 22!

Yes, he played well and a big reason we got the result, and there is nobody more pleased than me.

It shows how much an experienced head who talks helps a young player. Olowu was far better with Wood alongside him than Anderson.

I think he’s looked out of place in this league for a lot of this season but has still had some good games and tonight was definitely one of them. Our MOTM.

He’s not short on confidence so hopefully he can build on tonight’s performance and go on a run. He’s without doubt better than Bobby Faulkner who can move on for me. Focus on developing McGrath and Grehan long term.

He's been good in the last three games. The question is how much should be expected of a 22 year old. That's on McCann.

if you are good enough you are old enough. Just needed to knuckle down and get back to basics. Winning the duels the tackles and the headers. Nice and simple distribution not the hollywood 60 yard diagnals!

He was really good, Clifton edged man of the match for me though.

I don’t think Jay will struggle at any level when the ball is long and high at him. What we need to see is when it’s played in and around feet and round the back of him, that is where he looks to have struggled this season.

No doubt he is getting use to the league and the different level of players, and just at the right time.

Byrne will support and help him grow. And let’s not forget he is only 22

Noted he had swapped shirts with a Burton player. Don’t see that often at our level. Does he have a mate on their team?

Enjoyable watch, this.

I thought that was his best game this season, they were hitting us hard with the amount of crosses, and there forwards were strong in the air.
Watching that clip, would now go so far to say that was a mom performance.

That only one produced a goal suggests an improvement in our much-criticised ability to defend set-pieces.

IMO the set piece defending thing is a myth, we are ok at it.

His Dad played for Burton - maybe they wanted a McGrath shirt in memory?
