Seems the sports complex has been green lighted to be approved on 10th February at the council committee…

It’s more of a holiday complex close to a very busy train line than a sports complex

“Those in favour of the development included several professional football clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur.”

I don’t understand the point of it. Are the likes of Spurs going to book in en route to games at Leeds, Newcastle etc?

Society is shit when people of this dubious nature are allowed time and time again to profit. I hope there is a good hard look how this is financed given the people behind it, and seriously hope no public monies are spent towards this scheme.

I can appreciate people don’t care….its always wise to keep an eye on what’s happening around you, might but nothing but they could cause a problem in years to come

Doubt it, since the McKays have pulled away they've lost their momentum. They'll stay as a NCEL for a few years yet, staying in Rossington Main's shadow.

I think the reason iits so important is that decisions like this will put people off investing in the city, rich of the council when they approve homes all over the place.

Of course they wouldn’t.

That was one of the big selling points about St George’s Park but despite all England teams being based there they made a lot of staff redundant after about 18 months.
It survives but only because the FA ploughed many millions into it.

What probably puts people off is his background and convictions

Very suspicious from the outset and suspect it's all about trying to develop green belt land on the back of a planned failed initiative, then selling it on to developers as brown belt.

- Intimidation and threatening tactics (alleged) to affected neighbour(s)

- Effectively renders at least one other persons property as worthless

- Hotel rooms that see into a child’s bedroom

- Solely capitalist gain

I’m guessing the remaining hour and half of the meeting was for the buffet and disco? Sounded pretty much an open and shut case.
