How on earth did we win that?

We were abysmal first half. Slightly better second. A win is all that mattered. Hopefully we get a home draw in the next round.

Very poor goal to concede.
Grehan tackles with the wrong foot instead of keeping him wide, just like he did at Cardiff. no block on the shot, then TLT lets it through him.

TLT made amends in the shoot out, but Hudds have passed up loads of goal scoring chances there.
How slow does Maxwell look chasing their lad Alves second half...is he carrying a knock?

For Cliff to come out and say it was a very good performance is slightly worrying, as that was a poor showing. That said, Huddersfield looked a bit clueless themselves but they did have the better chances in normal time and then came up against an inspired Timee.

Our midfield was powderpuff to say the least and that puts more pressure on the defence. We do seem to look to go backwards (safe) rather than be a bit more adventurous.

The whole squad seem to be happy to let players run through/past them and leave it to someone else. The mind boggles as to what we do in training! We have to start getting tough, or else!

There were plenty of times our midfielders allowed Hudders players to go past them.
One that’s sticks in my mind was in the first half when Robinson was second to a ball and their player as running towards our box with the ball.
Robinson appeared to be half heartedly following him but not really looking like he would catch him or make an attempt to stop him.
There were of course many other situations.
