LDR, McGrath tried to tackle the player on The half way line and then got left for pace by fifteen yards up to the player shooting on the edge of our box,
He carried the ball which tells me McGrath gave up or was very slow in comparison with the Cardiff player and ended up gesticulating at our other defenders in the box, Watch the goal from the recording from behind the goal its all there.
The third goal the Cardiff player shoved the ball past him and left him for dead over ten yards and  pulled the ball back for a tap in.
Whatever you think of me it isn't good, and sets his team mates up for a fall as well. Rotherham last week and twice this week, it just is not good enough.
We got away with it last week because of good work by Middleton, Molyneux and Hanlon who have all been criticised  by others today but are not serial offenders.

All our players was like "After You Claude , No After You Cecil " to all of their players.

Cardiff got the 2nd ball every time and played for each other.

Donny Rovers GUTLESS

Reminded me of the Maradonna wonder goal where he ran through loads of England players with one even putting his arms up on edge of area

Have a look , but at least some did try to stop him instead of all backing off

It was apparent how slow McGrath is yesterday.  There were a few times in the first half when the Cardiff full back got forward on the overlap and I thought Jay would easily get in front of the ball but he didn't and then like you say for the goal, he engaged.on halfway and then sauntered the rest of the way.

There was more than McGrath he left Hanlan Molyneux in his wake first then missed tackle by McGrath on the halfway line. Clifton couldn't catch him and he went passed Bailey and Byrne. We don't have pace in the side it was bad defensively starting in Cardiffs half it was a problem all game.

I hope Grant & his team stick a recording of that 2nd goal on a big video screen at the next training session. Then ask every single player to explain wtf they were doing to allow that to happen.

Even if the can't put a tackle in, just take a yellow and stop him!

Exactly, no one even thought about taking him out, the lad didn’t have to do anything, he just ran with the ball, in a straight line and we shit our pants

Yes , much as I hate tactical fouling , and taking one for the Team (aaagh) had the boot been on the other foot most other Teams would simply stopped the run by foul means if they couldnt do it by fair means

I think we identified something similar v Barnsley this Season

Worst goal I can remember us conceding, absolutely shocking defending. And it’s obvious Cardiff knew they could try it and have a decent chance of something coming off.

How many times this season have the opposition picked up the ball in their own half and run unchallenged in to a dangerous position, it’s unacceptable.

The way Grant sets us up leaves 5/6/7 players caught upfield and we just don’t know what to do it seems when the opposition get the ball.

We were not playing Roy of the Rovers yesterday, it was just Cardiff City, to allow a player to run the full length of the pitch without putting a tackle in is unforgivable. There will be an awful lot of red faces when they show that to them again on Monday, they certainly need to question whether they accept wages for that goal alone.

They should be shown it every single day, it’s the stuff of nightmares

If Broadbent had been on the pitch he would have been taken out

Proper embarrassing that goal, especially molyneux.
Mcann cant do anything about players not even trying to tackle.

It happens every single game and I’m sick of saying how frustrating it is to see defenders allowing attackers to run so far unchallenged.

If I and others can see it, how on earth can’t the coaching staff see it?
