He was not without talent when he arrived, but credit to those at the club who have developed him further. We must make sure of keeping him, especially in view of the Bailey/Moly situation. His consistency is invaluable.

I rarely notice players on the opposing team but he stood out for me on a couple of occasions when we played Barrow and I was pleased we signed him.

It's odd how Crew never has appeared to kick on so far.  Kelly's running ability is quite unique in a midfielder these days and he showed that again today he was fairly food for them and definitely improved Vs last year.

But, back on topic, Gotts. He's about the same size as me yet he's everywhere, wins headers, strong and continually winning the tackles.  He's been superb since he dropped that bit deeper and a brilliant work rate. Can't fault him, was my motm today alongside the two centre halves and Hanlan.

He was very good too. Pulled Bailey all over. His movement and awareness is brilliant. On another day his performance would’ve led to a goal for him or them.

If Gotts or Bails had to come out of our team, we would feel it immensely. Both brilliant at breaking up attacks, one puts his head on everything in both boxes and one who carries the ball in tights spaces and mostly picks the right pass to get us out of danger. The 2 of them come hand in hand and if by any chance we do keep hold of Bailey, we could be in for a very exciting season next year.

I'll agree Bessie ( any relation to aunt Bessie ) , I think OB is absolute class. Bet GMc could put him in goal and we would give EVERYTHING every time

Gotts is right there too for me. I was told but not read it on here that we can thank Bielsa for convincing Robbie that his best position would be midfield not LB

We signed him and though my memory is "shot" I think we played him in back 4 for a few games but now he's in Midfield what a revelation.

Is any of the last bit on Gotts true ?
