Can anyone see us getting a win tonight?
« on April 21, 2026, 07:04:07 pm by LincsRover »
I can’t see anything other than a battering or, at the very best, a hard fought draw (and I’m normally an optimist!). They’ll obviously be champions sooner rather than later and only need a point but I’d absolutely love it if we could delay their party so it’s not here! For obvious reasons!! Come on rovers!!

I have a little bet on Rovers to win, nearly 3/1 against! Worth a little punt. We are playing with 10 men though. Hanlan starts as a replacement for Mols.

It's only the yellow belly "missing links" Steep Hill boys they will as I have already said have a Mountain to climb NEXT SEASON.

Extrapolating from Rotherham 3 Lincoln 0  earlier in the season at the new york stadium  4-0 any takers

Pointless post, and a ridiculous one at that.  I’m no huge fan of Hanlan but to dismiss him completely before the game starts is crazy.

I think the ref left his Lincoln shirt in his dressing room. Lincoln are dirty and getting away with everything.

We are paying for players who can’t kick a ball in Pearson and Grehan. Other than that it’s fairly even they just aren’t going to give up a pathetic goal like that and we struggle to create. So we’ll likely lose now it’s 0-1

In my now long life Lincoln City have had series of nasty thuggish yobs in their teams. I remember at their place one Saturday afternoon, we lost because our goalie (Kim Book?) caught the ball cleanly, two feet on the ground and then was then barged over the line by one of the aforesaid thugs - and  the ref gave the goal. It was shocking. I also remember my Dad, a respectable bloke and a long term JP, having to be physically restrained by my sister and a mate from climbing over the wall at half time to remonstrate with another thug. As they did manage to  haul him back, instead he marched straight to the office if the Lincoln club Secretary to demand his money back since he had paid to watch a game football, not a series of physical assaults.

I have never liked Lincoln City. Neither did he.
