Hoden and McCann
« on April 27, 2026, 11:30:58 am by Lifelong supporter »

Brilliant two-part interview by Liam Hoden with the manager on the official club website.
Second part is just up today and the first is still available.
It really gets to the heart of what Grant McCann is all about, from his upbringing during the Troubles in Ireland, his playing and managerial career, to his absolute determination to get Rovers back into the Championship.
Hoden is excellent at bringing the best out of the manager who I believe is one of the best we've ever had, especially if he goes on to achieve his aim.

Great couple of interviews. I rally hope Hoden isn’t leaving , I think his interview style really brings the best out of people and really enjoy listening to him.

The McCann interviews have been very good.

By far an away Grants biggest strength is how he communicates. He's Sean Dyche MKII in how he interpreted things, recollects things and in the picture he paints around certain situations (both past and future). They are both excellent at creating and controlling narrative.

I think they’ve probably got more than that in common as well.

If they are that similar Grant can get Dyche on the blower and convince his son Max to sign for us.
