Only recently come off the sex offender's register. People from other professions would be worried about being allowed into the US.

Agreed but he wasn’t the only one to have a bad day in that match was he.

When we drew 1-1 at Barnsley in 2018, he had to revert to CB because of injuries.

He put Kieffer Moore in his pocket that day.

Another who couldn't tackle and flattered when he had time on the ball, and struggled when rushed, which other teams soon saw as who and in what area to attack.

How's that? Italy haven't qualified for a World Cup since 2014. Not won a knock out game since 2006. Why's there this theory that they deserve to be there?

Explain why you think that is a joke.?  There’s plenty of places for European teams so if certain ones weren’t good enough to qualify, that’s just tough shit.

Theres a fundamental flaw in the qualification process if Qatar can qualify but italy cant.

Making it open to more teams is pointless if footballing backwaters can qualify, but traditional football powerhouses cant.

At the start of the qualification process, Italy had a very fair chance of qualifying.  That they didn’t is their fault for not being good enough, simples.

By “footballing backwaters”, you mean non European and non South American?

The tournament is called the WORLD Cup, note the emphasis on the word WORLD.

If you don’t like that, tough.

Not as much as your argument is.

Perhaps they should style it like the Eurovision Song Contest, where nations can buy their way in...?

So what.?

Italy lost to Bosnia Herzegovenia in the play offs, with BH ranked 65th.  You saying that’s not a fair result.?

You don’t qualify for a 48 team World Cup just by being ranked in the top 48.

The only joke here, is you.

UEFA has more slots than any other region, and considerably more. Their 16 slots out of the 48 finalists means 1 in every 3 sides is European.

It weakens the tournament massively by allowing in backwaters like Qatar.

They should have the chance absolutely, but it should be less than 48 teams, and only the best qualify.

You should try to calm down and relax, some people may start to like you in your life.

Keep on digging, with that jcb of yours.

Why is Qatar a backwater.?  Ranked 10 places above Bosnia, but hey, that’s ok they qualified because they’re European.

No you can’t, I’m perfectly calm pointing out the obvious flaws in your arguments.

You’re a WUM, plain to see, but I ain’t getting wound up.

I asked you a perfectly simple question which you ignored.

I think Qatar and Saudi Arabia very much bought their way to hosting. Worth it though for them if it distracts football fans from them chopping people’s heads off.

If your asking why qatar are a footballing backwater, then you have no argument, and for the sake of your health, ill leave it there with you.

No, I’m asking why you think that.  It’s a simple grasp of English.  Qatar are ranked 55th, Bosnia 65th.  Are they a backwater too?

Qatar World Cup was one of the most enjoyable and having heard from some I know who went, I really wish I had have done. I qualified with my caps for a fair few too.

UEFA has more slots than any other region, and considerably more. Their 16 slots out of the 48 finalists means 1 in every 3 sides is European.

But according to the FIFA world rankings 25 of the best 48 teams in the world are European.

In terms of quality Europe is under-represented in the number of qualifying spots given.

1 in 2 sides would have to be European for the highest quality tournament possible.

In depends on what you want. The highest quality competition possible or a more internationally representative competition.

So what is a “ footballing backwater “ and don’t forget to give valid reason.

He won’t answer - he never does - just deflects.  Typical of an internet troll.

I have my own theories why he would label certain countries as “backwaters” based upon his posting history across the forum, but I’ll keep that to myself for now.

Ok so now it’s veiled threats.  Don’t claim it’s not because everyone can read between the lines.

Regardless of that you still haven’t backed up your statement without a reasoned argument.  I doubt  you have the ability to reason.
