I hope Stockport stay down for two selfish thoughts. Firstly, because they will swell our home attendance average for next season. Secondly it would show that clubs may need to build for more than two transfer windows to get out of this league whatever their ambitions. Who was the full back who refused to sign an extension contract on offer with us to move to Stockport which he called a club with ambition (implying more ambition than DRFC at the time )

Challinor leaving Stockport.

I presume Challinor must have something lined up?He’s done an amazing job at Stockport in his 5 years there. National League to top-three in League One, two seasons running.I know there will be disappointment after missing out in the play-offs again, but he’ll be a hard act to follow.
