Not in the Scotland squad for the World Cup. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c4g94rpvx73o

He must be gutted having featured regularly in Scotland squads recently.

If Rovers had played him over a clearly inferior keeper through the last couple of months of the season he surely would have had a big chance of being called up (the 3 keepers selected have not played much this season either).

He must be cursing both Grant McCann and his own decision to join Rovers for game time to push for his place at the tournament rather than another team.

Wow yes , what a sacrifice he made but he did get injured at one point I think ?

Looked good a lot of the times he played

TLT didn’t deserve to be dropped either though when he filled in in Clark’s absence.

This why I’d rather we just had obvious no.1 and back up GKs. It’s creates awkward situations like this. It’s not like other positions where you have a chance to shine coming off the bench. Goalies need backing.

That being said, Clark missing out on the Scotland squad isn’t our problem.

He’s not been in a Scotland squad since September, and that was the first time he had been in a squad for a year. He was hardly a shoo-in and I don’t think game time matters either given the 3 keepers in the squad have only made 15 appearances between them this season!

A real shame for him, his injury and TLT's form when he got back in kept him out, that's football, tough decisions he will understand. He may want to return to make it better, if so I would welcome him, he is a good keeper.

I was watching him the very moment he kicked that ball at Burton that injured him.

What a costly moment that was for him.

I do think he’s better than Timmy, but Timmy came in that night and didn’t look back or deserve dropping.

That’s football eh.

Proved the competition in the goalkeeping department is a must next season.

Given the current roster, getting a keeper in is the priority. We have two youth keepers and one of them still hasn’t signed the deal we offered to him I believe.

Thought TLT was excellent when he came back in when Xander was injured and certainly didn’t deserve to be dropped

I agree with your thoughts and those of others that TLT was excellent when came back into side and played a large part in our successful results on the run in. Zander did play well, but mixed quite a few games due to the injury he picked up, but it would have been somewhat cruel to have dropped Timmy.
I would love to see Timmy back, next year, he would like to come back, but guess it depends on what decisions Hull make about his future. I can’t honestly see that Grant wouldn’t want him back, if he’s made available.

Bringing TLT back again would be a terrible decision. Gaz had some stats on how costly he was for us.

You'd think whatever happens next season we should be looking at experienced pro's like this for a permanent position.

Yes he made some mistakes, but he was getting blame for conceding goals which were not his fault, but down to shocking poor defending and mistakes by others.
