Does that mean we’re getting a certain player on loan?

Probably not. You need to pace yourself Alan.

He’s still coming to terms with us not having Akinfenwa

Yep Street signed new deal
Lincoln City striker Rob Street signed a new four-year contract on May 12, 2026, keeping him with the Imps until the summer of 2030.

Is Grant on his holi'bobs then? It's a bit quiet on the old transfer front! When's the window open, anybody know?

Why is it so improbable that he could be loaned to us again? Is he really Championship standard?

Lincoln's budget will increase massively this season, and may well include more than one striker.

Stranger things have happened in football than Rob coming back on loan. One thing's for sure, if he doesn't, then we need someone as good if we're as serious about promotion as the club say we are.

Both them will require a transfer fee we don't do that. The club talks Championship but strikers we need to achieve that cost money or we loan them

You don’t need a 20 goal striker in our set up. Obviously we want that but we are meant to be scoring from our wide players coming inside and our ‘10’ (more realistically ‘8’) arriving late in box. Problem last season was that none of them were really scoring.

Problem last season without Baileys goals we would have been relegated.
We know now that Molyneux had a problem but nobody on the left scored enough goals. Billy and Hanlan contributed generally after Christmas. We need better up front Grant talks about Championship and Grant says we are going to have a busy summer to get 7 players in, we need them.

Lincoln are playing away at Gainsborough Trinity at 7pm on the same so a lot of the Imps fans can watch both matches, their more senior players will be at Doncaster

Has he made them more money than Gavin has made us?
Our off field performance and earnings are very good from what I have seen.
