It all ties in with the Moriarty Tribunal too.The moment the supposed tak over cam about Irish friends with little interest in football were asking if i knew anything about the background of people involved.. I didnt,so they showed me so many allegatioms that later proved to be true that I could never back that shit.
How a certain ex chairman ever got involved with those criminals is beyond me.
Also how a vociferous number of supporters  backed it is also beyond me.
That now needs to be buried in the past along with all those that were involved.

Amazing really if you think back to what happened in 1998. From Uncle Ken to Westferry but they had no profile whatsoever. Their model was I think to get hold of the lease on Belle Vue, move us to a new stadium and then negotiate some deal with the council for surrendering the lease for the housing development. I assume they ended up getting a decent exit from that arrangement but whether it was worth the delay and hassle to a man with such wealth, you do wonder.

I suspect blind faith made one lead to the other. And led to 'fans' conducting orchestrated campaigns not only against the VSC as a whole but persoanlly against the VSC people doing their job and asking the hard questions.

It's this sort of stuff and  not necessarily playing by the rules that got them where they were.
