lol god knows, had to be south or west/north corner, but is anything actually going to be done from this or is it just a pointless vote?

The biggest problem is moving the ones that are settled. Why should they move to accommodate the singers, when they proably been there since the KM opened? The club wont step in for fear of alienating the settled fans, even though it will bring a better atmosphere.

I think you`ll have to ask thornerover94 that, he asked for the vote

Or you could take up the mantle yourself, instead of letting others do it

I wonder if the WSBBA poster will now consider moving to the South stand.  I somehow doubt it.

i think the only way we as fans can do anything without club intervention is simply for the singers who arent in the south to move at season ticket renewal time. its not going to be ideal for the first season or so (due to not being as tightly compacted as we would like), but what other choice do we have?

Agreed. We've already got a singing section. The majority singing section is the south stand - anyone keen to join up should look to move across. :cheer:

Another six page thread involving a million reasons why it won't happen and noone taking any real responsibility to make it work is my guess.

Then another thread dealing with exactly the same issue a few weeks later.

My suggestion is that if you are really bothered about this...

1. Phone the ticket office and inquire where there is a block of around 35 spare seats on the SS for the next game as near as possible to the centre of the stand.

2. Pass this info onto everyone who could be interested, including WSBBA or whatever he is called.

3. Turn up to game and sing songs.

4. Promote the idea for the next game.

Simple as that really.

I must admit, I come to expect a cynical response from 'Filo' anyway... but we're willing to move with the majority and it's something which I'll address with the lads on Tuesday night.

A few good points raised about turfing people out of their righful season ticket seat; the chance of getting all the singers in one area is slim, so it might be a 'Hillsborough' in the SS.

We're voting on the final design then going to have a collection for it. We think it'll be along the lines of a 3 stripe (red, white, red) 6ft x 4ft - THE FAMOUS POP SIDE EST. 1922. Hope to have it made and up by the Scunthorpe game.

I priced up the 'Viva La Revolution' flag, that'll be around £250 - we'll need some help for that.
