Spoke to a lot of my mates and rovers supporters about early
bird season tickets and price increase, and about 90% not even
heard about it yet so what chance have we got.A lot of people
not heard about it, ends in 3 weeks

If you spoke to your mates about it, by default they have heard about it  :)

I emailed the club this morning asking if they intend to post out the information about renewals or are we to assume that everyone who has a ST also has access to the internet. It will be interesting to read the response and suprising if I get one.
As time marches on I fear that JR will not get the reaction he is hoping for by the end of March due to inadequate communication, rather than lack of intention by the fans.

Didn't the Ticket Office say it was mailed out last Monday? (22nd Feb)

I think the pigeon they sent it with may have ended up in a pie.....

Rovers have now gone upmarket and enlisted the services of the latest hi-tech courier service. I am aware the letters were signed and sealed in the CEO's office 11 days ago. I was in there today and noted this speed merchant just getting through his door. Don't fret folks, the PR for the new ST's is on it's way.

Further evidence of our PR Department. There is now a 4th imaginative means of comms they have utilised.

1. Yankee Doodle Pigeon
2. Snail Mail
3. Indian Smoke Signals

4.

Maybe if they hire this kid and give him a loudspeaker they wouldn't have to email, phone or send letters out?

I am also reliably informed this decision on marketing the ST's efficiently was discussed by Dave and the team at the beginning of Feb. I am more than aware that an extraordinary team meeting was called by Mozzer and the marketing department.

A young 'Junior Rover' attempts telekinesis with Keepmoat staff, in order to establish the price of renewing her Under 12 ticket.

No, but I'd happily call them for 1.50 per minute....

ala David Attenborough

Heeeere, in the deepest corridors of the Keepmoat, we look for signs of Primitive PR work. If we look closely, we can see a Chief Exec, preparing a publicity speech for the clubs new season tickets..............sssssh, don't want to alarm him. (now whispering)If I hide behind this desk, we can capture him in all his marketing glory

All these are a bit high tech for Rovers.

As the new ice age sweeps across Europe, Dave Morris declares \"The game is on, no need for an inspection!\"

This is a brilliant thread!!

Gartom, perhaps you can make JR aware of it. It may be a more succinct way of putting forward the views of the fans than a string of phone calls?

I will suggest he takes a look - tho I bet he already has given his comments to me earlier this week....I will stress the lack of faith in our marketing dept when we have a chat - hopefully today !
