For one match only: Sat April 3rd v Plymouth.1. All season ticket holders give up their right to their allotted seat and we have the whole stadium as unreserved seating.2. All season ticket holders are empowered to use a voucher in their book to exchange for a match day ticket to introduce a friend etc., at a nominal cost of £5 or £10.3. Season ticket holder buys unreseved ticket for friend at ticket office, or over the phone etc. 4. Match day. First come first served sit where you like. You can sit in groups etc, just like you used to do in the old days. Let's see how many we can get in to that stadium. It may also give us an idea how well (or not) having unreserved areas may benefit. 5. The club promotes their balls off to the extra folks we get in.In principle what do you think ?I think we could make it work.
I Can't see how the police would be bothered as long as the segregation between home and away fans was maintained. We might need a little more help on the stewarding side to help people find seats, but other than that, I think we could overcome most problems.
I did not know that the concourse in the North stand could be segregated? If this is true then this surely is the answer STH who don't want to move will be happy the singers will be happy and under the same roof as the away fans Great idea Baz
The seminar was about growing and developing clubs regardless of size. The tutor mentioned number of various examples from football (professional, non-league and grassroots), rugby, cricket etc. On the topic of people not listening and resisting change, he mentioned a professional club who were given a development document by its own fans and simply looked at it and ignored it! I wonder which club that was - he never did say, but I think we all know who it is!
