Just heard on the news they've been deducted 9 points.
Now on ten points and seventeen points behind safety.

I have a bit of a soft spot for pompey as i used to watch them if i couldn't get weekend leave.
It's horrible to see what's happening to them, but it should serve as a warning to all the other clubs who are running their finances this way.

From a purely selfish point of view my brother lives in Portsmouth. If only Bolton could see their way to f**king up their season (5 mins from my house) and join Hull then it'd be pretty much perfect!
As for the sympathy towards Portsmouth... not from me. They, like other have massively overspent. Unlike others they actually got something from it and won the FA Cup and no-one can ever take that away from them. I'd take a bit of financial hardship and relegation if it meant Rovers won the FA Cup!

That £20 on 5/1 at the start of the season looks dandy.
