i not sure if this has been mentioned else where, but, the last two home games, i've not enjoyed.
the tactics, (if that is what they are)have me baffled. we play well ,score a goal and then drop our level to match the other team, saying \"break us down if you can\", then hope to hit them on the break.
stats, might prove me wrong, but i don't think we have the right players for this job!
2 points lost yesterday.

I don't think it's a tactic, more a bit of nerves. I like the break us down philosophy, but I don't like the hoofing we had yesterday. Wasn't meant it was just panicky. Not wanted, it's just a natural reaction from players.

Yesterday was exactly the same as the Palace match, and to a certain extent Derby. Dominated the first 45, and then in the 2nd half we allowed them back into it.
Unsure whether it was a change in SOD's tactics, or whether the mentality of the players changed, or whether simply, the opposition manager gave them a rollocking at half time. Either way, had we performed as well in the 2nd half as we had in the first, we'd have had 9 points from the last 3 home games instead of 5.

We are always the same if clubs come out of the blocks at any pace, we bottle it in my opinion and revert to long ball till they score then we seem to want to play.
We clearly missed Billy, but we cant rely on the one man our weakest link yesterday was JET and his lack of enthusiasm in the game seemed to rub off on the team. I think he would be my only change for Billy on Tuedsay.

What frustrates me is that surely SOD can see what is happening in situations like this and yet does nothing about it.
It was glaringly obvious that after 10 minutes of the second half yesterday Little was running midfield.
Would it not have made sense to bring a sub on to tighten our midfield? For me the obvious change was Sam Hird into midfield and take JET off.
