)2-1 to Rovers. (But if we have one of our games we will blow you away and you could be embarrassed) ;)
2)Billy Sharp
3)Andy Carroll, although I watched him down here in the U21's and he appeared lazy although the supply to him was poor
4)We are a team, the worst players change every match, as does the best player.
5)Barton for obvious reasons
6)Jay Emannuel Thomas / Billy Sharp
7)7th/8th
8)Top
9)We are one of the new breed of clubs, tight shipped and financially sound. I do believe we will meet again one day in the Prem. ;)

1.....scoring draw
2.....sharp
3.....i be honest as iam not uptodate with your team since you dont seem to have
household name players anymore....but if you are going to put a gun to me head i go
for barton,if he plays that is as he will want make amends i guess

4.....i would say that rovers dont have a worse 'regular' player in first
11,think that roll gets passed around match by match

5.....see question 3 'not uptodate with your team'
6.....sharp if he signs for rovers, future as next season
7.....two or three spots from play offs
8.....should go up automatic either 1st or second
9.....newcastle are very big fish in small pond this term both on/off the pitch with yer fan base, hence promotion this term....next season in prem i see you as a smaller fish in a massive pond on the pitch, but a big fish off the pitch with your support

9.....as for rovers they are still on the crest of a wave since getting out of conference some 6terms back, still heading in the right direction and the prem is not
that far from the reach of doncaster rovers football club the way things stand.

if rovers was too get into the prem i think most of us would expect to be 'one season wonders',then it's back to the championship....what happens after this should ever happen does worry me a tad

1) What will the outcome of the match be? 2-2
2) Which player should we fear most? John Oster, he could run the game tomorrow.
3) Which player do you fear most? Gutierrez and his Tom Daley impressions.
4) Who is your worst player? Lewis Guy, thankfully he's out on loan.
5) Who do you judge our worst player to be? Nicky Butt
6) Which player should we look out for in the future? Waide Fairhurst, quality young striker
7) Where do you think you will finish this season? 10th
8 ) Where do you think Newcastle will finish this season? 1st
9) What do you think the Future holds for both clubs? Newcastle will go up, struggle and flirt with relegation when the fat man fails to spend.  Have to question Hughton in a way, he's not been tested in that league yet.  Totally different having twice the budget of the other top teams (and about 10 times ours), to having smaller and similar budgets to many others.

Few Questions...

1) What will the outcome of the match be? - a 2-2 draw
2) Which player should we fear most? Billy Sharp
3) Which player do you fear most? As Lovenkrands isn't playing, Andy Carroll.
4) Who is your worst player? No-one. We have a decent squad.
5) Who do you judge our worst player to be? Not convinced by Colocchini (sp?) to be honest.
6) Which player should we look out for in the future? Jay Emmanuel-Thomas/ Waide Fairhurst/ Neil Sullivan
7) Where do you think you will finish this season? 10th
8 ) Where do you think Newcastle will finish this season? 1st
9) What do you think the Future holds for both clubs? Although Newcastle have exceeded my expectations this season, I think next season in the Prem will be a struggle. Rovers- a very rosy future if we can keep Sean O'Driscoll.

8) Where do you think Newcastle will finish this season? 1st
9) What do you think the Future holds for both clubs? You will stay up easily in the prem but get hammered by Sunderland......twice. We will lose our manager and struggle to stay in this league.

2) Which player should we fear most? Billy Sharp
3) Which player do you fear most? Carroll
4) Who is your worst player? It varies week to week
5) Who do you judge our worst player to be? No idea
6) Which player should we look out for in the future? JET
7) Where do you think you will finish this season? Between 8th and 10th
8) Where do you think Newcastle will finish this season? 1st
9) What do you think the Future holds for both clubs? While ever we keep John Ryan and SOD we'll be OK and will continue to steadily improve.  For you - I think it depends what happens with the ownership of the club.  I hope you do well because support like yours deserve a successful club

1) What will the outcome of the match be? A draw at best for us, it will be a tough game.
2) Which player should we fear most? Billy Sharp. A dangerous player who always looks likely score.
3) Which player do you fear most? Not sure, maybe Carroll. His height could trouble us.
4) Who is your worst player? Probably Lewis Guy, he's on loan at Oldham.
5) Who do you judge our worst player to be? LuaLua, although he doesn't feature for you he was cack for us last year on loan.
6) Which player should we look out for in the future? Jay Emmanuel-Thomas for Arsenal.
7) Where do you think you will finish this season? Top half
8) Where do you think Newcastle will finish this season? Top
9) What do you think the Future holds for both clubs? Hopefully we will establish ourselves in this league. The aim for us will always be survival on our current budget, which I will be happy with. I reckon you will be a mid to lower Premier League team for a few years if you buy well in the summer.

1) What will the outcome of the match be? 1-1
2) Which player should we fear most? Billy Sharp
3) Which player do you fear most? Kevin Nolan
4) Who is your worst player? Ben Smith, but thankfully he will be no way near goal tomorrow
5) Who do you judge our worst player to be? Smith - looks past it
6) Which player should we look out for in the future? Jay Emanuel Thomas - a hot prospect for Arsenal
7) Where do you think you will finish this season? 10th
8) Where do you think Newcastle will finish this season? Top
9) What do you think the Future holds for both clubs? For Newcastle I'm sure you can survive next season, alot of bad teams now in the Prem.  Think Donny will be happy with mid-table for the next 3 years and hopefully we can be nearer the play-offs than the bottom 3.

1) What will the outcome of the match be? Rovers 1-2 Newcastle (sadly I think you may have a bit too much for us)
2) Which player should we fear most? Billy Sharp
3) Which player do you fear most? Jonas Gutierrez, Carroll and Nolan are the main ones, although you have a very strong looking team throughout.
4) Who is your worst player? Lewis Guy, who is out on loan at Oldham. Out of the ones at the club at this moment, you won't have to worry too much about Mark Wilson - you might not even notice him.
5) Who do you judge our worst player to be? Fitz Hall has never convinced me. You also have Kazenga LuaLua, and although he won't play tomorrow, he was poor for us last season.
6) Which player should we look out for in the future? Arsenal loanee Jay Emmanuel-Thomas is a rising star who will no doubt be a household name in the Premiership in a few years time. From our own crop, Waide Fairhurst looks promising.
7) Where do you think you will finish this season? Between 7th and 13th.
8) Where do you think Newcastle will finish this season? 1st
9) What do you think the Future holds for both clubs? Newcastle to get back into the Premier League, learn from their mistakes and start to stabilise again in the top flight. Rovers will hopefully consolidate our position at this level for as long as possible, and eventually we may progress and push for the next level.

1) Ones each.
2) Billy Sharp
3) Kevin Nolan
4) Mark Wilson
5) Steven Taylor dodgy and can be got at.
6) James Chambers.
7) 9th
8) Champions.
9) Newcastle back in the Premiership where you belong, we will continue to look to pick up 50 points for around the next 3 seasons, building our fan base along the way before having a shot at the play-offs. A lot depends if we can manage to keep the current Management duo!

lets all be honest here but how many of us would have answered this thread by the newcastle utd fan

if say the same thread was put up by a peterboro fan????

i for one will put me hands up

my excuse is that i must have got caught up in the big/small club thing
as rovers need all the help they can get to shake the small club tag.

In answer to Oslo, not many fans have asked us these to be fair, I happily speak to any fans of other clubs I see on trains, at work, in the pub or anywhere to be honest. This is only the same kinda stuff but written down - nice to have the time to do the written part every now and again!

Anyway in answer to said Toonite's questions.

1)What will the outcome of the match be?
Depends how we play – if we’re on form I honestly think we’ll blow you away, however I think we’ll score early doors, play some fantastic football that has you chasing shadows but not be clinical enough in our finishing. We’ll then probably try and shut up shop in the second half and you’ll get an equalizer late on 1-1. (Sharp, Carroll)

2) Which player should we fear most?
Probably Billy Sharp – although Coppinger will be on one of his better days trying to get one over you.

3) Which player do you fear most?
I’m a fan of Kevin Nolan and Peter Lovenkrands

4) Who is your worst player?
All our players have important roles to play within the team and squad. The sum is greater than our parts.

5) Who do you judge our worst player to be?
I’m still unsure as to what exactly was Leon Best’s appeal to your guys

6) Which player should we look out for in the future?
Not strictly ours but Jay Emmanuel Thomas could have a big future.
Wade Fairhurst looks to have all the attributes required to do well.
Yours, Nile Ranger could develop into something special – in fact if he’s not going to feature for you for a while, he could learn a lot here! Ha!

7) Where do you think you will finish this season?
Probably somewhere between 7th and 10th – it’ll be our highest placing in history regardless!

8) Where do you think Newcastle will finish this season?
Going to be hard for anyone to catch you now, but I have to admit I felt it could’ve gone either way for you this season, stroll the league or really struggle, luckily for you guys it’s proven to be the former.

9) What do you think the Future holds for both clubs?
If we can keep our management team and shrewd board in place as well as continue to find and polish up some rough diamonds, we will continue to grow, and could make a really good sustained push for next seasons play-offs and (depending who comes down and goes up) possibly even the top two in a few years – that’d be a real ‘Roy of The (Doncaster) Rovers’ fairytale achievement.

1) What will the outcome of the match be? 1-0 Donny
2) Which player should we fear most? The Midfield 5
3) Which player do you fear most? Nolan, Guthrie, Harper, Carroll (in short your first team)
4) Who is your worst player? Ones that are fit and cannot make the squad
5) Who do you judge our worst player to be? From TV only- Butt
6) Which player should we look out for in the future? Fairhurst
7) Where do you think you will finish this season? 9th
8 ) Where do you think Newcastle will finish this season? 2nd
9) What do you think the Future holds for both clubs? Newcastle will return to where they rightly belong and hopefully stay there. Donny must hang onto their manager and retain/expand our size/status in the Leagues

1) What will the outcome of the match be? 1-1
2) Which player should we fear most? The Midfield 5
3) Which player do you fear most? Nolan, Carroll
4) Who is your worst player? We don't have one, the sum is greater than its component parts
5) Who do you judge our worst player to be? No one stands out as being bad
6) Which player should we look out for in the future? Jay Emmanuel Thomas at Arsenal probably
7) Where do you think you will finish this season? 8th
8 ) Where do you think Newcastle will finish this season? Erm, Top?
9) What do you think the future holds for both clubs? Newcastle will return to the Premiership and if someone in charge makes some sensible decisions for once they could become a major force in English football. Steady development for Donny, a firm conviction in playing the game the right way, hold on to the management team for as long as possible and if we need to replace them, choose well and get people in who won't squander the legacy. Continued efforts to persuade the locals to support the club.
